Chemical & Dyes Industries:
- The advantage of dextrin in the dye stuff industries are so well recognized that good many large scale manufactures have taken to using highly soluble dextrin as diluents to standardized the dyes with respect to the range of color.
Textile Industries:
- As dextrin do not easily react with chemicals, they are specifically suitable for application in the textile field. In Textile printing, they are used as thickener. Free of grit and other impurities, which usually accompany lower grade of starch, they ensure that the copper rolls (used in printing) do not suffer from abrasion. In sizing, they are used with starch to increase adhesiveness.
Color Industries:
- Dextrin is largely used in dry distemper. five to ten % of dextrin, mixed with chalk and pigment, acts as carrier and impact good adhesion of the color to the wall

INTRODUCTION
Shubhlax (Anti set-off Powder) is a modified product of maize starch. Anti set-off spray powder of 18-22 micron size for general purpose printing. Due to the special production method the single particles receive a rounded shape. A unique grain sorting and the character of the powder grains support easy and dependable handling. Anti set-off powder is inert to normal humidity. It is stable in storage. With its high specific weight anti set-off is extremely dust dependent and economical in application. The dust accumulation in the delivery and around the printing press can be minimized. It can be sprayed evenly and without big turbulence. This supports a good and exact stack formation.
FEATURES

APPLICATIONS
Anti Set-Off Spray Powder has many applications in the field of printing press like:
Use as instructed by spray unit manufacturer.
Inadequate powder can result in adequate coverage and may lead to set off and poor ink trapping due to lack of oxygen.

Thin Boiling Starch is a partially hydrolyzed starch product. Due to the reduction in the chain length, the paste of Thin Boiling Starch is less viscous than that of unmodified starch. It provides uniform & stable Viscosity over wide range of concentration.

Applications:
Textile Industry & Other Industries:-
- Ansizotex is ideally suited for use in warp sizing and finishing of cotton and polyester cotton blends. Uniform paste properties of Ansizotex ensure substantially constant textile performance.
- The warp threads undergo friction and tension during weaving process. The efficiency of weaving depends upon the resistance of warp yarn to abrasion. Ansizotex provides protection to yarn to meet friction and tension by giving uniform size penetration without developing abrasives points even on oven drying.
- Ansizotex being more penetrating give a better anchorage to the starch film reducing flakings or "dropping". They give more weight to the fabric for the same stiffening effect, and the surface layer being thinner and more firmly fixed for an equal weight of starch, the size is neither visible nor perceptible by the "feel" of the cloth. Thus, it gives both solidity and "fullness" coupled with flexibility distinct from the stiffness of the cloth filled with plain starch with or without clays.
- In finishing thin boiling starch like Ansizotex is used for a light finish when very little filling is required to give body to the cloth. Being a low viscosity product it is possible to control the stiffness of the cloth by changes in concentration of Ansizotex.
- It is also added to native corn starch in different proportion to change the viscosity of native starch to suit different application in textile industry with respect to denier of yarn & also for further modification Ansizotex is used during manufacturing of paper & food products and for better performance.
